This sermon highlights the essential role of sacrifice in the Christian life, drawing from Luke 14:25-35. It emphasizes that following Christ requires a decision of priority, placing Him above all other relationships. There is a price to be paid for true discipleship, symbolized by bearing one’s cross. Commitment comes with a cost that must be carefully considered, as illustrated by the parables of building a tower and going to war. However, the ultimate reward for this sacrifice is great, both in this life and in eternity, as God promises abundant blessings to those who serve Him faithfully.
